The Toi Pōneke Gallery hosts about 15 exhibitions throughout the year, selected by the gallery’s visual arts panel. Admission to the gallery is free.

Toi Pōneke Gallery exhibits work by solo artists, groups and curators, with priority given to Wellington-based artists.

The gallery supports emerging contemporary artists and curators, as well as more established artists. Community and recreational artists with high standards of technical ability and presentation are also considered.
